Description
This oak clock is created by cutting strips of wood,next i bond the wood together,shape and add small pieces of oak as number points, sanded and stained to a high finish.It is then sent to be professionally sprayed in a beautiful natural matt varnish, that really show of the grain and the colour of the stained wood.
The clocks main bubble dimensions are 235mm wide,105mm high.
Fitted with non ticking smooth motion movement,, takes 1 AA battery,supplied.

Inspiration
I want to create things that are both beautiful and yet practical, mix old materials with modern bonding methods and produce art that has a purpose. some pieces are one offs,other are repeated, but i have no desire to mass produce.These are also Environmentally friendly as i buy scrap wood from a furniture manufacturer in the Kent area and turn them from small pieces of wood into larger designs.
