Janine is a unique handmade hardened fabric sculpture which uses about 40% recycled items.

She is stated as for indoor use but could be put outside if kept in a shady area as the UV in sunlight will fade the skirt pattern but will stay blue because I have pigmented the hardening paste so although the pattern on the skirt (being a textile based colour) will fade some the blue will stay. The blouse is also ppigmented blue to last outdoors. She will withstand our elements sun, rain and frost.

These sculptures are a new form of modeling using fabrics. I can incorporate recycled goods into my designs and if I can get unique good quality items then I do. This lady is wearing recycled skirt, turban and jumper and the wooden block she is standing on is also cut from a pre-used piece of wood, sanded down and made good.

She is finished with two coats of varnish and a final light spray of matt varnish.

She measures: 21.5"

To wash: swish in cold water with a drop of washing up liquid.
