Hand painted child's chair with traditional rush seat
Description
This chair is made of solid beech and has been painted and decorated by artist Clair Letton. The rush seat is added after the painting is complete by me, Jenny Letton. There are four of these chairs available, each individually decorated in RED, TURQUOISE BLUE, YELLOW and BRIGHT GREEN. Please email colour preference. We are also happy to take commissions to personalise a chair for you.
Inspiration
The frames for these chairs were made at West Dean College near Chichester and are very solid. I have been a 'seat bottomer' doing rush and cane work for a number of years now and will always quote for restoring your furniture as well as offering these lovely new items for sale.
