POPPY FLOWERS ORIGINAL DESIGNER TEA COSY IN 2 SIZES
Description
Hand Knitted from my own, copyright, original knitting pattern - this lovely tea cosy features a thick cream base (double layer) and 3 beautiful knitted poppy flowers, plus foliage (stems, leaves and buds) embellished onto the base cosy. For 2 or 6 cup pot.
Inspiration
I adore poppys, on holiday at St. Minver in Cornwall during the 1990s there was this wonderful poppy field on the drive to our camp site...... it inspired me to get out the knitting needles and make this lovely cosy - its a popular knitting pattern (which I copyrighted) and also sell as part of my cd collection here on folksy - the cosy is a lovely addition in the kitchen and great for a Birthday present. All my tea cosys are original designs which I have made since the 1970's and all are totally hand knitted with quality new yarns. This cosy has a cream base but I can knit it for you in other colours of choice. Comes in a 2 cup or 6 cup size. I post worldwide, provide a free postal service, and accept paypa.
