Gift-Boxed Unique Brown & Blue Glass & Shell Necklace & Earrings Set
Description
The necklace of this seaside-inspired set is made from gorgeous aqua blue and brown glass bicone beads and brown round crackle glass beads, all set on a wire necklace so that you can mould and shape so that it sits perfectly on you.
The 'pendant' of the necklace and the earrings incorporate a brown crackle glass bead, a beautiful aqua and blue crackle glass bead and a seaside round piece of brown-painted shell. All findings are silver-plated to reduce the risk of allergy.
I never make two sets the same, so this piece is completely unique.
Inspiration
I love funky, unique jewellery (I hate wearing the same as everyone else!) so started making my own. I figured other people must feel the same so decided to start this little shop.
This piece was inspired by the beautiful beaches that surround us here in South Devon (which is why the pictures of the piece were taken there!). I've made pieces inspired by the sand & sea before, but wanted to do something that incorporated the gorgeous cliffs and rocks that surround our beaches - hence the use of brown instead of a sandy cream. The use of bicone and round beads was to try and imitate the rough and smooth surfaces of the rocks and tides. I really enjoyed making and photographing this piece and hope that you get some enjoyment from it too :o)
