Trellis bookmark
Description
Delicate, lacy and reversible, this little piece of original textile art makes a perfect bookmark – an ideal gift for a gardener or nature lover, and very light for posting too!
The design is an impression of climbing plants on a trellis in summer, covered in flowers and foliage.
It’s made by free machine embroidering on soluble fabric, with a base of green net so that the stitching doesn’t have to be too bulky.
The bookmark measures about 18cm x 4.5cm (7” x 1.75”). It is tacked (basted) onto a printed card and presented in a cellophane packet.
Please note: the bookmark you receive may not be identical to the one pictured – I repeat the same design and colours but the free nature of the technique means it’s impossible to make exact copies.
