What better way to take a snapshot of a fleeting moment in the life of a child and immortalise it, than by having their handprints exquisitely embroidered onto a luxurious 400 thread count pure Egyptian Cotton duvet that will last a lifetime?
Each handprint is painstakingly digitised by hand into stitch format, ensuring perfection. The result is an incredibly beautiful, totally unique and personal duvet that the child will be wholly delighted with, and that will be cherished forever.
The size of the duvet is a standard single.
Important information: For this item, we require that you send in your handprints (individual A4 sheets for each) in black or dark paint, to the address below. Please include the child's name, age at the time of doing the prints, and the date they were done, and include your name and delivery details so that we can match them to your order.

Simply select thread colour that you would like, send through the checkout, and as soon as we receive your handprints, we will work to create the child's very own, one of a kind duvet. Please allow 20 working days for this product, upon receipt of your handprints, due to the level of handcrafted work that goes into making them. True precious heirlooms take time to create!
Inspiration
It started out as an experiment. We wanted to create a keepsake that would be cherished (and last) forever, and we were curious to know if embroidering handprints would work, and what they would turn out like. Digitising the painted handprints by hand to ensure we captured all the tiny details took hours (it still does!), and the length of time it takes to embroider each one is nearly as long, but the end result is worth every second of effort! We get people telling us they 'need' one, and grandparents asking if we can do the whole family!
