Handmade reversible cot quilt ' Little Fishes'
Description
This lovely unisex handmade quilt has patchworked colourful fishes set in a background of bubbly printed fabric and enhanced with diamond sashings. The reverse has an undersea fabric window effect. This appealling design has lots to spot with your child. Plus you can count the fishes, 1,2, 3, 4. 5, once I caught a fish alive, you get the idea, helps with identifying colours too when older. Bound in blue binding.
Measures approx L36" x W25". Machine washable on low temp wash, line dry, dry flat, cotton setting ironing without steam.
Lovely gift idea. Could be used as a cot quilt, play or floor mat or just to snuggle up with for little nap times.
Inspiration
What started out as a playing about exercise with some scraps of fabric I had after a much needed clearing up session in my room, one fish ended up with lots of fishy friends, I then decided to make a fun cot quilt and rather than add a plain backing decided to make complement the front with an under the sea backing with some fabric I had just bought and couldn't wait to use, making it reversible and adding a different look to a child's nursery without having additional bulky storage or costs. I really like the end results and hope that it goes to a good home.
