A Horse illustration on a Black Essdee Scraperboard approx 229 x 152mm. This is a horse that I see daily as I am luck enough to work in a studio in the outbuildings of a traditional Somerset long farm.

Inspiration
I see this horse everyday as I walk my dog at the craft centre, I have become fascinated with how it watches me, I don't get to close because although I love how handsome horses look, I am very wary of them. So this was a challenge to get close enough to see his eye in detail. I loved working on the scraperboards, something I haven't done for years.
