"Fish Supper" Linocut
Description
This linocut has been proving popular! It has been hand printed by myself onto Zerkall Mould Made Printing Paper 210g/m using Lawrence Oil Based Relief Inks. I have included some pictures of the print while it was being made. The fresh teal colour has been achieved by mixing Pure Blue, Veridian Green and Opaque White. The printed area is A4 (297mm x 210mm) with a 30mm border. There were 30 prints in the edition (10 are now remaining) and each has been numbered and signed by myself. The unframed print will be cellophane wrapped against a stiff board backing and carefully packaged. Postage within the UK and packing is included in the price.
Inspiration
Being a Shetlander I love Love LOVE fish. This is one of my favourites...the good old herring! Not sure if you will ever see one like this on your plate but that is artistic licence for you. I am creating a series of 'Fish Suppers' with other yummy "Fruit de Mer" so watch this space!
