Personalisable Teddy Bear
Description
This lovely, little felt bear is looking for a new home. He would make a lovely gift for a special birthday or as a christening present. He can be made extra special by personalising the felt base he sits on.
The bear's standing height is approximately 9 1/2cm (3 3/4in); sitting he is 6 1/2cm (2 1/2in). He is made from brown felt with black glass eyes and a hand embroidered nose. He is thread jointed, with buttons to secure the joints. His collar is plaited 3mm ribbon in three shades of purple.
He will come with a fully personalisable light purple felt base to sit on which is approximately 9 1/2 cm (3 3/4in) across. On this base I can add a name, date or short message using complimentary fabric appliqued onto the felt (an example of this is shown in picture 5)
This item is not suitable for young children due to small parts and it's intended as a decorative object not a toy.
All my bears are made and stored in a pet/smoke free home.

Inspiration
I am loving felt at the moment; it's a wonderful fabric to work with. And, since bears are my "thing", a felt bear was next on the agenda. There will be many more to follow, I'm sure!
