Moongazing hare doorstop- primitive folk art
Description
A calico doorstop hare. Handstitched in plain calico with accented fabric ears and base.
Not too large or heavy but with enough weight to hold back a door.
Around ten inches tall and stuffed with polyester stuffing and double protected sand.
Each wears his own little ceramic moon made by Helen of hbceramics here on Folksy.
Price is for ONE hare- the one with the sand coloured gingham ears. Uk postage included in the price
Inspiration
I'm very fond of hares, and of their links with the moon and the goddess oestre- magical creatures.
