A small bowl but with lots of character, not only pleasing to the eye but a joy to hold too! Although this wood sands up to a beautiful smooth finish i like to experiment with texturing to see what results, and in this case i was really pleased with the final look. Having applied decoration to the outside i then used verdigris wax to give it a lovely green shimmering look which i find compliments the natural purple colour very nicely. Although small in stature 6ins x 3ins ( 150mm x 75mm ) this piece will stand out in the crowd!
