Daisy and Bee Mosaic Slate Garden Ornament

The Design
The colour for the daisy mosaic was chosen because of the plum colour of the slate paddlestone. The amber / honey centre of the daisy is transluscent so gives depth to the flower, and shines when the sun hits it. The bumblebee has iridescent wings that are translucent light blue in some light angles, and electric metallic blue and gold in other light angles.

The piece of slate is flat and rounded and would make a great garden decoration in amongst the flowers in a bee border, or near a pond, or as an ornament on it’s own on a patio or deck adding colour and interest.
