Bespoke Handmade Doll 'FLEUR'
Description
Fleur is an original handmade doll and is part of a collection of dolls called 'The Little Misses'.
The doll starts out as a foil armature and is then hand sculpted using polymer clay, I do not use molds. The joints are wired to she is able to sit propped up. The doll is painted with acrylics and the face is water colours and pencil. The hair is made from mohair and her dress is made from vintage fabrics. Fleur is 27cm long.
The dolls I make are very delicate and are therefore not suitable for young children as toys.
Inspiration
Fleur is part of a collection of dolls called The 'Little Misses'.
Fleur helps her Mother in the chocolatier shop, sometimes the milk chocolate praline catches her out. Its so delicious it makes her shed a small tear.
