Description
Here is a beautiful patchwork quilt based on a traditional design using squares within squares, using pieced triangles. The square shape alternates light and dark adding to a stained glass glow.
This quilt fits into a modern or country setting, and looks stunning on a bed, as a wall hanging or draped over a sofa.
The quilt is cut by hand and machine pieced. The quilting is done by using an embroidery stitch in red to complement the quilt colours, and accents the square patterns. Giving the quilt an eiderdown effect.
The reverse of the quilt is a small flowered print on a black background that has the red stitching in squares within squares.
Measures 56" x 56"
Machine washable on low setting.
Can be sent elsewhere as a gift thoughtfully wrapped.
This quilt has now been sold, however I can make a quilt up using similar colours, with different fabrics. Please allow three weeks for the quilt to be made, plus shipping time.
