Bespoke Handmade Doll 'SNOW WHITE'
Description
Snow White is an original handmade doll and is part of a collection of dolls from the Grimm's Fairy Tales.
The doll starts as a foil and wire armature and is then hand sculpted using polymer clay, I do not use molds. The doll is painted with acrylics and the face is water colours and pencil. The hair is mohair and the clothes are made from vintage fabrics. Snow White stands on an oak plinth painted duck egg blue and makes her stand 40cm tall.
The dolls I make are very delicate and are therefore not suitable for young children as a toy.
