Bespoke Handmade Doll 'BLANCHE'
Description
Blanche is a handmade doll and is part of a collection called the Hankerchief Dolls.
The doll starts as a foil armature and is then hand sculpted using polymer clay, I do not use molds. The joints are made of wire and a pearl bead so she can be posed in various positions. The doll is painted using acrylics and the face is water colours and pencil. The hair is mohair and her dress is a vintage cotton hankerchief. Blanche is 28cm long. The doll is very elegant and would look beautiful on a shelf or mantle piece. The chair is not included.
The dolls I make are delicate and are therefore not suitable for young children as toys.
