Butterflies and Brambles Pyrography Bowl
Description
A shallow wooden bowl, size 20cm dia x 2.5cm deep. I have drawn a butterflies and brambles design onto the bowl and then burnt in the details with my pyrography iron. The bottom of the bowl is covered with a felt and the rest of the surface is finished with three layers of laquer to give it a rich finish and bring out the the details of the pyrography work.
Inspiration
I like butterfiles and blackberries especially in a pie (not the butterflies) and think they lend them selves well to the pyrography iron
