A5 Well of Healing Poem and waterfall postcard
Description
This postcard features an image and a poem both by me!
The poem, The Well of Healing, on the back of the card has the following lines:
Take me to the well of healing
That lies at the end of the sky
And I will find peace there
In the sound of the clear water
And the pure sky
... Lay out the herbs of healing
At my feet
Vervain, mistletoe, meadowsweet
And we shall sit awhile by the ancient well
And be strengthened again
With the waters borne from the mighty ocean
And the brown earth beneath our feet
And there shall be silent ringing peace
In our souls
I'll see you on that healing hillside
The image on the front is Peter Tavy Coombe Waterfall on Dartmoor, Devon near to my home.
The card comes with a white envenlope.
Inspiration
I wrote this poem earlier this year based on the celtic wells of healing to be found here in the Westcountry.
The photo of the waterfall I took a couple of years ago it fitted well with the poem:)
