Description
The hand mirror is 30cm (12) long and 12cm (4 3/4) wide (being handmade this does vary slightly). The mirror glass is 10.3cm (4).
Inscriptions or names can added to the reverse for free and makes the mirror an incredible unique personal gift.
Inspiration
This hand mirror is designed and made by us in a small workshop in the English Lake District. The artwork is pyrographed or 'burned' free hand then hand painted in watercolours and inks.
I often enhance pieces with vintage buttons, beads, glitters and employ scraffito. The mirror is OOAK and can be inscribed with a name or message for free on the reverse.
Designs are inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement through to the wonderful illustrations of the 1920s and 30s. The natural beauty of the birchwood is shown off in the way that this is decorated.
