Handmade notebook journal - Twinkle 1987
Description
This notebook has been made from the front and back covers of a well-loved, rescued children’s book, Twinkle 1987. This book has obviously been treasured by the little girl who owned it as the cover shows signs of use – this makes it all the more charming.
Inside are approximately 40 sheets of blank, rescued computer paper (80 sides). The notebook has been hand-stitched in a coptic stitch with thick black paper thread. This means that the book can lie flat when opened.
This book is a perfect mix of nostalgia and practicality! It would make a lovely gift for someone who loved this book when they were a child – or for yourself!
Please note that the covers of this notebook do show signs that it has been well-used. We think this enhances its beauty!
