Tall Pink Christening, Baptism or New Baby Candlestick
Description
A simple and beautiful Christian ceramic stoneware candlestick.
I threw this on my wheel and then decorated it with a pink slip. It was fired to bisque and then dipped in a transparent glaze before being fired to 1220C stoneware.

It's an ideal gift to give at a Christening or Baptism celebration or the birth of a new baby girl. I have other items that would make lovely gifts too.
All my pieces are signed with the initials REJM. My parents gave me a long name!

Inspiration
Each time one of my children were Christened they were given a candle as part of the service. The priest would then tell me to light the candle for a little while on their birthdays. I didn't. They stayed in a drawer. One day I decided it was time to get them out but no candlestick seemed appropriate so I made them one each. Now my Godchildren have them as well. I would like to share the opportunity of your special children having a candlestick too.
