--SALE-- Really useful pincushion
Description
A patchwork pincushion that is designed to be an indespensible part of any needlewoman's (or of course needleman's) equipment.
It is in English hexagon pieces, made from fabrics that are more robust than just polycotton, with two flower blocks sewn together. They are stuffed with wool (that is supposed to be good for keeping pins sharp) and hand sewn together with button thread (so very strong).
I have added an elastic loop, into which you could put your thimble, scissors or snips (not included) a label that could be used for hair clips or kirby grips and a hanging loop of tape that could be used to hang it up, cut in the middle to tie it to something, cut one end and tie a pair or scissors to the pincushion or indeed cut off altogether! It has nice 'arms' that are good for putting needles through (and winding the thread around) and a deep middle hexagon section that is deep enough for the longest pins.
In all a very useful pincushion - I have included a picture of my own and as you can see from the psychedelic fabric I have had it for a long time and its been well used!
