This is a bowl made out of magazines and my daughters drawings. They can vary in shape. Small to large, oval to circular. These are great for holding items such as keys or pot pourri. They liven up any surface and are a great talking point. Visitors always comment on these as I have quite a few dotted around the house. These are quite sturdy and have been sealed to protect them though they are not waterproof.
I have a 4 year old daughter. She brings home loads of drawings that she does at nursery and her Grandmother buys her a weekly magazine. I wondered what to do with all these pictures and magazines. It seemed a shame to throw them all out in the recycling bin but we don't have a house big enough to store them all. So I decided to make them into a decorative paper bowl. Now I do it regularly as there are still so many magazines and drawings to reuse. They always turn out really colourful and I have loads dotted around the house holding craft supplies, keys, spare change etc.
