Stained Glass - Linear Flower
Description
A retro-inspired stained glass flower, decorated with a linear surface pattern, which has been hand-painted and fired in a kiln.
The glass I use has lovely air-bubbles and striations and looks stunning when the sun shines through, casting colourful patterns in your room.

Inspiration
I love children's book illustrations from the 60s and 70s (in particular the work of Dick Bruna, Roger Hargreaves & Jan Pienkowski) - particularly the bold colours and thick black outlines, and it's a style that translates really well to the technique of stained glass. These flowers were inspired by the tulips that often feature in the Miffy books.
