I've been looking at the view of Blaze Fell on my way down the hill after the school or nursery run for nearly ten years now, and it never fails to lift my spirits. Maybe it's the way the fields and woods crisscross each other, maybe it's the incredible range of natural tones which change according to the seasons - whatever, it's a view crying out to be made into a cushion!
The Blaze cushion is knitted using textured intarsia (blocks of colour in stocking stitch, reverse stocking stitch and moss), fully reversible with the pattern mirrored on the back. It comes in four different colourways inspired by the colours I see each day, with a zip fastening along the bottom, so that the 16" cushion pad (supplied) can be removed.
