A pair of intense deep ruby-red coloured stud earrings in fused dichroic glass, set on sterling silver posts with butterfly backs. The dichroic glass is renowned for changes in colour & catching the light as you move - very pretty!

The cabochons measure aprox 9mm dia. The glass is hand cut, layered and kiln-fused by me at my studio in Chatham, Kent.

Dichroic glass, developed by NASA, has special light transmitting and reflecting properties, hense it is very hard to capture in it's full beauty with flash photography, and is always more stunning 'in the flesh' - this picture doesn't really do them justice.
