Tiger trophy coat peg or hook

Tiger trophy coat peg or hook

Description

Mistreated toy animals have been hunted down and mounted on this mahogany plaque rescued from a broken Victorian snooker table. These poor creatures have been given a new life having had their tails chewed or legs snapped off. Their knobbly heads provide evolution's own coat hooks.
These pegs are pretty sturdy and can be screwed onto any wall or onto the back of a door (nice brass screws supplied). Would make a great moving in present or gift for a (big) kid's birthday. We can gift wrap it for you if you want.

Inspiration

I do a lot of work for museums and country houses and have always had an interest in Victorian taxidermy, although as a life-long veggie I don't like it at the same time. These pegs are my own fun take on the rather macabre hunting trophies you see looming over you from oak panelled halls.
