Reclaimed slate garden signs
Description
Set of four garden signs. Made from reclaimed slate tiles from a tumble-down farm building nearby, which I sealed, painted with white acryllic paint, and sealed again to make the signs weather-proof. This set of four reads: Pick; Don't Pick; Weed; WEED!
I've got a few more sets that are as yet unpainted, so if you have any particular instructions you'd like for your garden, I'm open to requests!
Inspiration
Mr. Underwood often finds that other people like to be helpful in the garden, but often don't quite know what to do, and don't want to get it wrong. Sometimes he himself forgets what needs doing. So he made these signs as a reminder that the raspberries need weeding, the potatoes won't be ready to pick for another month yet, and that the mint's good to go. So next time he's in the kitchen and tells his sous-chef to go and fetch some herbs, there's no excuse.
