Mwnt Church Welsh Landscape necklace
Description
This necklace is a depiction of Mwnt Church, built in 13th or 14th century, that was a resting place for pilgrims as they made their way to the shrine at St Davids. Mwnt hill and its church, near Cardigan Bay, is a very popular site and one which I particularly love, having played on the nearby beach countless happy times as a child. The sheep are also really there occasionaly!
Handmade in Polymer Clay, embellished with acrylic paint and finished with a silk varnish, it measures roughly 3.5cm square. The bail is silver plated as is the 18 inch snake chain included, and comes in a lovely black cardboard jewellery box.
As they are each individualy hand made there may be small differences between them.
Inspiration
A very sweet little old fashioned church at the foot of a small hill on the edge of the cliffs by the sea.
