This roomy bag is made from a 'pre-loved' sweater, that has been felted and cut by hand and eye (no pattern). It is hand finished in blanket stitch using a distinctive rainbow yarn from another 'pre-loved' sweater; this time an unravelled hand-knit. I have knitted and partially felted the matching, attached flower and finally added the coordinating wooden flower button to the centre.

Inspiration
I love the idea of giving an old but perfectly serviceable item a new lease of life by changing it's use and purpose. I saw the idea for turning 'pre-loved' sweaters into bags and decided to have a go and design one of my own. I hope this will be the first of many.
