Full description
These beautiful bookmarks are made my me, in my studio in Northampton. They are handcut, the details painstakingly drawn on and then free-motion embroidered using a sewing machine, stiffened with interfacing and then sewn up and finished with neat top stitching detail.
They are part of a range of products developed by me as part of an artistic study into mini beasts and nature.
The caterpillar is an Angle Shades Caterpillar, and cut from Amy Butler's Sun Spots fabric in Lime. This fabric also features on the back. This bookmark features the words 'I've got the reading bug!'
The worm is a Common Garden Worm, is cut from Amy Butler's Sun Spots fabric in Wine. This fabric also features on the back. This bookmark features the words 'I'm A Book Worm'.
