Description
Materials: camouflage-printed polycotton, sparkly jersey-foil, velour & navy fleece waves, appliqued onto mid-blue fleece with blue stitching.
This super soft quilt makes an ideal 'grow-with-me' gift for newborns plus. A reversible quilt, it's ideal for stimulating babies during 'tummy-time', fantasy role-play fun as children grow and warm snuggles. I've even made them for teenagers. The quilt has a robust zig-zag stitching detail on both sides and is machine washable at 30 degrees; line dry only. Size is approx. 45X35, 115cmX90cm which is perfect for a toddler bed or as a little throw at the end of a single bed. Matching pillow cases, cushion covers or larger sizes available, made-to-order seperately.
Keep away from fire and heat. Babies should be supervised during use.
Inspiration
I've been a teacher for a almost a decade now and have come to realise that despite the availability of many printed playmats to aid 'learning-through-play', my teacher friends and I still prefer to set up small-world scenarios for pupils and our own children using real fabric. Children love the sensory stimulation that fabric offers and if it sparkles as well then that's even better. The fabrics I use are new, soft and ultra-sparkly.
