This memory stick is made from a small piece of spalted beech. The pattern is quite amazing & I can look at it for ages & see all sorts of pictures and fantasy maps in there! It measures around 2 1/2" x 3/4" x 1/2" and it has a lovely smooth feel. The stick is suspended on a length of leather thong and would hang as a pendant.

I do favour a finish that allows the ‘treeness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish.

I'm told 2 GB will accept anything between 500 and 2000 photographs depending on quality settings. Or 500 MP3s at 128 kB/s.
