Dragonfly and Waterlily
Description
Painted onto a circular (20cm) canvas board,
This Dragonfly design is painted using silk paints in blue shades with salt crystals sprinkled into the wet paint ot give starburst effects.
Acrylics and reflief outliners are also used to add texture.
The 20cm canvas board has a turquoise ribbon strung through it to hang it up.
Signed on the reverse.
Inspiration
The Dragonfly design is one of my favourites to paint. I love the blue shaeds and it was fun to do the design onto a different surface and experiment with the textures.
