This is my daughter's favourite dress ever. I swear, she would wear it to school if she thought she could get away with it. It features a silk bodice with a full and floaty skirt. There are four layers to this skirt: silk, 2 x nylon chiffon and nylon tulle. Each layer is gathered so that the skirt is full but comfortable to wear. No itching on the legs, guaranteed! It is finished with a silk sash that ties in a bow at the back. Whether your flower girl accessorizes it with pearls, or your first holy communicant wears it with a veil and cross, she will love to wear this dress as much as you love to see her in it.

You can handwash it with care, but you may prefer to have it dry cleaned. Don't tumble dry it! The bodice and sash will take a hot iron, but the skirt layers need a very cool one.

This dress is made to order only - do you think I could prise this one away from my daughter? Not a hope!

Postage is, alas, quite expensive on this dress. There is a lot of fabric in it, which weighs quite heavy, and the full skirt makes for a very bulky parcel.
