A matt black wooden tea caddy box with pewter embossed designs on the lid and the front of the box.
This bespoke 3 division 6mm MDF box is manufactured exclusively for my shop. It is coated with a black matt hardwearing paint which washes very well.
The lid swivels on 2 wooden pins embedded into the sides so that the lid lies flush with the sides.
The finish has a smooth feel to it rather than textured.
The lid's design is two scrolls on either side of the word Tea.
The front's consists of 3 cups each with its own scrolled design.
The pewter is lead-free and safe for any use.
The embossing is done by hand using only hand tools. The back of the embossed design is filled to prevent denting. It is then aged using a patina and finally polished to the silver-looking antique finish
Dimensions 28cm long x 9.5cm deep x 9cm high
Pewter retains its lustre for many years and does not require any special cleaning techniques. If necessary, it can be cleaned with a normal household metal polish which is applied and buffed with cotton wool.
We offer a custom service, for a different design on the box contact us with details. We will send you a proof copy of the design for approval. A deposit will be required if personalised. Customised work usually takes 2 - 3 days after receipt of order but no longer than 7 days.

I love pewter and am always looking for new ideas. As tea is so popular I wanted to design and create something for tea lovers everywhere.
