This lovely 1977 Rupert Bear annual has been given a second life as a tool for learning the time. Large moveable clock-hands can be pointed to hours and minutes of the day. And on the back, learn the days of the week. Seven cards with days of the week can be placed by turn on the back cover. The cards are held in place by magnet - making it easy for little hands to place on and take off. This much-loved book is in very good condition considering it is 35 years old, and it still functions perfectly as a book to be read again and again.

Inspiration
I make a number of items out of repurposed books, including working clock books. But often I come across a book that I just can't 'bear' not to be read again. Tell the Time books allows the book to still be read while also making use of it as a clock. It's a great way to pass on the books you loved as a child, not only by reading the book together with your child, but by using it as an activity book as well. It looks great propped up on a shelf as a decorative item. Then take it down and use it to learn, and to read the wonderful adventures of Rupert the Bear.
