Description
This is what I do with fabric scraps that are too small to make aprons with and not yet small enough for patchwork!
This doll is all blue (even the hair) the doll itself is navy blue suiting, white cotton drawers and peticoat (with broderie anglaise lace and purple ribbon) the dress is blue polly cotton with an embroidered design and she has a lovely white broderie anglaise apron.
She is 22inches or 55 cm high in her black shoes, and stuffed with a polyester filling. I have made hundreds of these dolls and they are loved by little girls of all ages, used as a decoration on the bedroom chair by the older ones and lovingly played with by the younger ones!
All fabrics are recycled from other sewing projects, with my commitment to recycling everything gets saved and used for something (the bow, for example was a hanging loop)
and nothing is wasted.
