The Old English Church - Bird Box
Description
Ye old English church
These beautifully crafted nest boxes are based on the English parish churches of the 12 century, these types of churches can be found in most villages here in the south west of England
These little homes contain two nesting boxes, each with an access door for cleaning and observations, they can be “locked” with half a turn of a screw making them predator proof. Inside there is a sloping perch to enable the little ones to make an easier exit when they’re ready to leave home. Constructed of reclaimed and locally resourced materials found mainly on and around Exmoor in south west England. They are very solid and sturdy and made to last. The bases are Mahogany. Whether they will last over 800 years like the churches I can’t be sure! If they don’t please feel free to ask for a refund! For the amount of work and care involved in making these cosy little houses they are reasonably priced at £32:50.
10% of all profits are donated to the local church. (Minehead Baptist Church)
