Item details

Made from soft fleece, these little shoes are hand stitched with a contrasting coloured thread. Made in a moccassin style, with an elastic section on the front to aid the fitting of the shoe.

These shoes are suited to approximate aged 0-3 months babies, and measure approximately 10cm from toe to heel, to give a guide as to whether they will fit your baby. Ideally the babys foot should measure no more than 9cm, although being a soft fleece it will stretch a little.

These shoes are available in larger sizes and other colours, contact me for details.

These shoes are made of a deep blue fleece and incorporate a bright red, hand blanket stitiching and cross stitch for detail. It also has a small piece of soft elastic to keep the wrap over sides together when on the foot, helping to keep them where they should be rather than on the floor!

I wanted to make a simple shoe that wouldn't cost the earth to make or to buy, is easy to care for and is still bright and fun.

I designed this pattern based upon an old moccassin style shoe made in leather I remember from years ago.

With its hand stitched detail and simplicity, its perfect to keep those little toes warm in the cooler evenings, and even to be used as a slipper in the home for those learning to toddle about.
