Here's a beautiful and calming photographic print of a bunch of lavender in a pretty blue and white china jug sitting next to a blue and white ginger jar. The image has had some special Eyeshoot magic applied to it to make it look soft, textured and a little faded and antique.
DETAILS
TITLE: Lavender With Jug and Jar
SIZE: 10" x 8" print with additional white border for EASY MOUNTING AND FRAMING, it is signed and dated in pencil on the back. Printed to order by me in my home studio.
PAPER: Brilliant Museum Satin Matte Paper, which is acid free, lignin free, archival and weighs 300gsm. There is the slightest of sheens and textures to the paper and the results are stunning when printed with my archival Vivera pigment inks which give a long and vibrant life.
The print is unmatted and unframed.

Inspiration
I photographed this lovely still life in a friends' house. It was in the beautiful bedroom where we always stay on our visits there. I was inspired to make it look much more 'painterly' than my normal style of photography and so I treated it with a range of textured filters to give an interesting and rich effect - a little bit of country shabby chic which is so popular at the moment!
