Spring Paper Bunting

Description

This lovely Springtime paper bunting has been upcycled from a discarded copy of the beautiful book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures from the lovely Spring months.

There are 9 triangular flags, each approximately 21cm long x 17cm across. The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and isn't really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!

The bunting has been threaded with rescued cream wool. If the flags were placed end to end , the bunting would be 160cm (approx 5ft 3in) long. We’ve included an additional 4m of wool so that you can spread the flags out on the wool – they slide easily – and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.

This listing is for ONE garland of bunting. We have 2 (almost identical) garlands of this bunting available. Please note that your bunting may be slightly different from that in the photos but will have equally beautiful flags of Spring birds and flowers!

NOTE - the third photo shows this bunting together with another Spring bunting upcycled from the Country Diary book. This is also available in our Folksy shop.
