This magnificent dragonfly has beautiful irridised glass wings which make it positively shine out as you pass it. The light catches on the clear, irridised granite glass wings and shines out pinks and greens as you look at it from different directions. The wings are complimented by the body where I have used a greeny blue water glass in keeping with the watery theme.
The dragonfly has been created using the copper foil technique and has wire running the length of the body to give it strength. Wire has also been soldered on so that the dragonfly can hang safely.

I hang dragonflies in my kitchen window and some people make their bathroom mirrors look great by hanging one there too. Where will you put yours?

The dragonfly is approximately 18cm tall and 18cm wide.
