I live only a few miles from the sea and often I create things inspired by the ocean and its creatures. I have used a range of beautiful blue and green glass to create wave like shapes which are soldered together. Sometimes there will be a little bit of yellow added to give extra zing. On two or three of the sections I have engraved sea creatures, crabs, fish, starfish or shells.

Wire has been used down the back of the piece to add strength and provide a way of hanging it. Wire has also been used to add shapes of glass hanging from the bottom.

Each of the etched ocean hangings are unique and it will be a bit of a lucky dip which one you receive but be rest assured each one is simply lovely.

The hangings vary in size but average out at 20cm tall by 10cm.
