This is a unique piece which reflects my passion for the ocean. The sea is only a few miles away from my home and it has been inspiring me for years and years. Whenever I look at it I think of happy sunny days on the beach, rock pooling, swimming and playing in the sand.
This panel is made using the copper foil technique (Tiffany) but has the extra wow factor because I have used my kiln to kiln carve and fire the hand painted fish. My kiln was also used to create the little round glass nuggets that have also been soldered in. The blues and green glasses are stunning and the textured clear glass makes the panel simply sparkle.

I have used a warm yellow glass to give extra vibrancy to the panel. It has a lead came frame and wire soldered on to the top corners so it can be hung.

It is approx 24cm by 24cm. The panel would look great hanging on a white wall or leaning against a window. You can attach ribbon, chain, or fishing line between the wire loops to hang it if you like. The panel could be hung as it is, in a window supported by 2 good window suckers.

This is one of my favourite pieces and I hope it goes to a good home.
