A pair of medium sized woven ribbon flowers handmade from a hand-dyed ribbon in warm autumnal colours.
The flowers have a multitude of uses:
- use them to trim a bag or a hat
- create your own hair accessories
- applique them to your homemade bunting
- scatter them across a table as a pretty table decoration
- use them to add a finishing touch to your gift wrapping.
Just a few suggestions, I'm sure you can think of many more creative ways to use them!
These flowers are 2" (5cm) across. As each flower is individually handmade from hand-dyed ribbon the colour placement may vary a little from the photograph. Available in 2 sizes and various colours. Also available in larger quantities - please contact me for details.
Gentle handwash or dry-clean. If your flower gets a little squashed then holding it in steam for a few seconds will revive it.
I created my first ffflower when I was experimenting with my set of vintage flower looms; I added a button centre and a stem to my flower and decided I really liked the result.
Now I make a whole range of quirky artificial flowers from all sorts of different materials, ranging from beautiful ribbons hand-dyed in the UK, to novelty yarns, and even upcycled plastic packaging.
