Spring Blossom Brooch is an embroidered yarn and felt brooch, featuring embroidery, on a double layer of pale pink and pale blue felt, which is then wrapped around a piece of flexible stiff card, and edged with white and gold ribbon to frame the brooch and to ensure minimal cotton and yarn workings can be seen from behind.

A silvertone, roll over pin mechanism has been securely sewn to the back of the item, so the brooch can be worn with peace of mind, that it should not dislodge itself from your garment.

The beautiful Spring flowers, such as blue bells, primroses and violets in my local forest were the inspiration behind this brooch and as I am predominently a yarn crafter, rather than an artist, I felt a textural embroiderd brooch, with a variety of differing coloured yarns and textures would suit my style of crafting.

Approximate meaurements: The brooch is roughly square and measures approx 6cms by 6cms. But the corners are elongated giving extra lenght and width here.
