Tumbled glass mobile in stripey blues and turquoise
Description
A little colourful mobile to hang by a window where it will catch the light - and enough of a breeze to let each glass piece clink and tinkle against its neighbour. I cut the glass by hand before tumbling it until smooth and frosted - my attempt to make sea glass! The glass chimes are then drilled and then strung from a cherry wood stick pruned from the garden.
These chimes are a bit fragile, and so can't be hung anywhere that they would get too blown about - I have hung them in the garden, but a brisk wind could cause the glass drops to break against each other so I wouldn't advise it.
